Improved A product list that works better with screen readers

In the product list, products without an image get a placeholder, and empty fields show a dash. Every cell of a row now reads sensibly, so the list is clear for screen reader users too.

New Mini shop – from the flyer straight to the order

With the Mini shop add-on you can open your own shop at shop.kirakatom.hu. The product cards of your flyer lead there, and buyers can order without an account and pay by card (into your own Barion account), cash on delivery, at pickup or by bank transfer. In the Webshop menu you enter your company details, shipping and payment methods and legal texts, then put the shop live. You manage the orders there too. With Mini shop Plus you can also book Kvikk couriers, and invoices are issued automatically from your own Billingo account.

Improved Kirakatom has moved to its own addresses

Kirakatom now lives at kirakatom.hu. The merchant area is at app.kirakatom.hu and the flyers are at view.kirakatom.hu/yourshop. Old links take you to the new address automatically; you do not need to change anything.

Improved Change a flyer's title and validity later

If the validity or another detail was left out when creating the flyer, use “Edit details” on the flyer's page to set or change the title and the validity dates at any time. The web address of a flyer not yet published can be changed too. For a published flyer the change shows after “Publish again”.

New Print-ready PDF of your flyer

On a published flyer, the “Print PDF” button makes a PDF for the printer, with bleed and crop marks. You also get a proof PDF showing the trim line and the safety margin, and a preflight check (image resolution, fonts, overflowing text). One export is 1 credit; after the monthly credits of your plan you can buy credits on the Billing page, and a failed export gives the credit back. You find everything under Print exports.

Fixed Uploaded product images show again

An image uploaded while editing a product (and the shop logo) did not show in the product list, the editor or the flyer. It is fixed, and images you already uploaded show too. If you uploaded the image after publishing a flyer, click “Republish” on that flyer.

Fixed The Products page opens again

The Products menu item did not open because of an error. It is fixed, and an automatic check now opens every page of the interface so such an error does not reach you again.

New Terms, privacy notice and cookies in one place

The terms, the privacy notice and the cookie notice are now linked at the bottom of the website and the online flyer viewer, with their version number and the date they take effect. When you sign in, you accept the terms and take note of the privacy notice once. If a new version takes effect later, we will ask you again the next time you sign in.

New Subscription page, trial and plan limits

A new shop starts with a free 14-day trial. On the Subscription page in the Account menu you see your plan, when the trial or period ends, and how much of your products, users, running flyers and storage you use. When you reach a limit, the system tells you and says what you can do. If the trial or subscription ends, all your data is kept, but publishing and PDF downloads are off until you choose a plan. Trial PDFs carry a watermark.

New Your flyer online, at its own address

Your published flyer is now available to everyone at view.kirakatom.hu/yourshop. It loads quickly and can be browsed on phones and computers alike. Shoppers can click the products, download the PDF, share the link and find older flyers under Past issues. An expired flyer is never shown as current. You find the link on the flyer page, in the Public page section.

New Visits, logo and brand colour

The flyer page shows how many people opened it, how many pages they turned, how often they clicked products and downloaded the PDF. It is measured without cookies or personal data. In Settings you can upload your shop logo and set your brand colour: they appear in the top bar of the online flyer, and the logo also in the flyer headers. There you can also ask search engines not to list your flyers.

New New home page, pricing and public changelog

Kirakatom now has a home page that briefly shows how your promotional flyer is made from your products. The Pricing page lists every plan with monthly and yearly fees, net and gross prices, a detailed plan comparison and the add-ons you can order separately. On the What's new page anyone can see what is new, and subscribe via RSS. All three pages are available in Hungarian, English and German, on phones too.

New Blank flyers, your own templates and copying to another language

You can now start a new flyer from a blank page instead of autofill. In the editor, Save as template keeps a page you like, so you can reuse it later as a layout. On the flyer page, Copy to another language makes a new draft in the chosen language; the editor marks the texts to translate until you rewrite them.

New An editor for your flyers

On the flyer page, Edit opens the editor. Drag products onto the page or onto an empty product slot, add text, badges, banners, images or QR codes, and arrange them aligned to the grid and to each other. Add pages blank or from a layout, duplicate, delete and reorder them. Your work is saved automatically, and Undo and Redo (Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+Shift+Z) are always at hand. The editor works on a desktop computer; on a phone you can view and publish the flyer.

New Warnings and a check before publishing

The Warnings tab of the editor tells you when an element sticks out of the page or past the margin, when a text or price does not fit even at the smallest font size, when two elements overlap by accident, or when an image resolution is too low. Before publishing, a checklist shows missing images, prices and dates, offers without a previous price, and products whose price differs from the published flyer.

Fixed Missing Hungarian labels added

A few buttons, filters and screen-reader labels of the interface showed a technical key instead of a Hungarian text. They are translated now, as are the missing German labels.

New Publishing and a downloadable PDF

On the flyer page, Publish freezes the flyer with the current prices, and a printable A4 PDF is ready within minutes under Download PDF. If you change prices later, the published flyer does not change by itself: Publish again updates it.

New A promotional flyer in a few clicks

On Flyers > New, choose a theme, a colour, a page layout and products (all, one category or a selection). We build the cover, the product pages and a back cover with a QR code. Price, original price, discount and unit price always come from the product data, and even long names or big prices never spill out of the card. Flip through it in the preview.

New Upload products from Excel or CSV

On Products > Product import you can upload up to 20,000 products at once. Download the sample file from the Import guide, fill it in and upload it. Before importing you see which column becomes what, and a preview of the first 20 rows. For faulty rows you get a downloadable report on what to fix. Upload again and existing products are updated by SKU.

New Manage your products

Under Products you can add and edit your products: name and description in several languages, sale and original price, quantity (for the unit price), barcode, product page and image. Search by SKU or name, and filter by category or missing images. It works on a phone too, so you can quickly change a price from anywhere.

Security Two-factor authentication to protect your account

In your profile (top-right corner) you can turn on two-factor authentication with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator. From then on, signing in needs a code from your phone as well as your password. We strongly recommend it. The shop owner can make it mandatory for all users on the Shop settings page.
